About iimHQ
iimHQ scores IIM campuses on fees, placements, academics, and fit so CAT and IPMAT aspirants can build a shortlist without aggregator fluff.
Operated by KASP Digital LLC (UAE) and founded by Anchal Katyal. Not affiliated with any Indian Institute of Management. Not admissions consulting.
What iimHQ does
Campus reviews
Each IIM review carries Anchal’s named verdict (recommend, shortlist, skip, or situational), dimension scores, fee and placement tables, and links to official sources. The outcome is a clearer accept-or-skip call than a rank table alone.
Compare essays
Head-to-head and best-for essays weigh two campuses or a career lane (consulting, finance, product, operations, ROI) against fees, brand, and evidence quality. Use them when two offers or calls look equally plausible on paper.
Aspirant guides
Guides cover CAT and IPMAT pathways, cutoffs, selection criteria, fee companions, and offer-week checklists. They sequence the decision so you verify the live bulletin and institute PDF before you act.
Decision tools
The ROI calculator and multi-IIM compare tool put fees and outcomes side by side so you can check EMI math next to the review verdict.
What makes iimHQ different
Scores cannot be bought
Institutes cannot pay to raise a 6-Dimension Score, reorder an editorial shortlist, or buy page placement that overrides judgment. Aggregators and coaching blogs often mix sponsored cards with rank hearsay; iimHQ keeps commercial policy on the disclosure page and treats scores as non-negotiable.
Named author judgment, not anonymous scrape copy
Anchal writes the reviews and owns the scores. Sites such as Shiksha or Collegedunia-style aggregators lean on compiled tables and interchangeable blurbs. Here every campus page ends with a named verdict grounded in the published methodology.
Official sources with data stamps
Fee circulars, audited placement PDFs (including IPRS where available), NIRF, and official admissions pages back decisive figures. Reviews stamp when data was last checked. Coaching-site hearsay is not source material.
Free to read, no signup paywall
Full score breakdowns, compare essays, and guides stay open. Community media such as InsideIIM may mix forums, events, and gated formats; iimHQ’s core product is open editorial pages you can share with a parent or mentor without an account wall.
Published six-dimension framework
Placements, fees and ROI, academics, peer quality, campus life, and brand carry fixed weights and band labels. That transparency lets you disagree with a score while still seeing what evidence moved it, instead of a single opaque league number.

The team behind iimHQ
Anchal Katyal, founder and author
Anchal did her MBA at IIM Udaipur (PGDM 2015–17) when the campus was still young. She founded iimHQ to put fees, placement definitions, and fit judgment in one place instead of rank-table hearsay. She writes the reviews and owns the scores. Author page · LinkedIn · anch.al · anchal@iimhq.com
iimHQ Research Desk
The Research Desk cross-checks fees, placements, and cutoffs against primary sources before scores and verdicts go live. It supports evidence quality; it does not replace Anchal’s editorial call.
Origin story
The site started from Anchal’s own shortlist problem: reconciling fees, murky placement claims, and new-IIM brand anxiety. iimHQ is a publication of KASP Digital LLC, the UAE company she founded. Coverage now spans 21 campus reviews plus guides, compares, and tools.
